Top ranked Saga B. (19-15) recorded its fifteenth loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by eighth ranked Orange Vikings (13-19) 94-86. Orange Vikings looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Saga B. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-Filipino forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: LBSU) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 20 rebounds for the winners. American forward Perry Ellis (203-93, college: Kansas) chipped in 30 points and 5 rebounds. Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) produced 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American center Kenny Lawson (207-88, college: Creighton) added 13 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Saga B. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Orange Vikings moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Bambitious N. Saga B. lost sixth consecutive game. They still keep top position with 15 games lost. Orange Vikings will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Saga B. will play again at home against Orange Vikings and is hoping to win this game.
