Very expected game when 8th ranked Yokohama BC (10-20) lost on the road to second ranked Chiba J. (23-7) 75-64 on Wednesday. It was a good game for Spanish forward Sebastian Saiz (205-94, college: Ole Miss) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Fumio Nishimura (177-86) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Czech Patrik Auda (204-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Masaaki Morikawa (190-92) added 18 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Yokohama BC. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Chiba J. maintains second position with 23-7 record having just one point less than leader Tochigi B. Yokohama BC lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 20 games lost. Chiba J. will face Osaka E. (#4) at home in the next round. Yokohama BC will play against Dragonflies and hope to win that game.
