Very predictable result when fourth ranked Akita Northern Happinets (20-10) won against at home 10th ranked Hokkaido L. (9-21) 79-73 on Wednesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Akita Northern Happinets looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Hokkaido L. was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Bahamas power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-89, college: Wichita St.) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. Akita Northern Happinets maintains fourth position with 20-10 record, which they share with Toyama G. Loser Hokkaido L. dropped to the ninth place with 21 games lost.
