Very significant was Taiwan Beer's (#1, 18-0) victory against 3rd placed Jutai Techn. (6-12) 74-65. Taiwan Beer looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward JD Miller (203-96, college: TCU) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. The former international center Shih-En Fan (198-94) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Taiwan Beer's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Lan-Deng Bu (200-93) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks and guard Han-Hheng Li (175-94) added 7 points and 6 assists respectively. The victory was the eighteenth consecutive win for Taiwan Beer. Defending champion maintains first place with 18-0 record. Jutai Techn. lost their third game in a row. They keep the third position with 12 games lost. They share it with Bank of Taiwan. Taiwan Beer will meet league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jutai Techn. will play against the league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
