An interesting game for Flying Leopards (29-3) which played road game in Hangzhou against 3rd placed Golden Bulls (23-6). First ranked Flying Leopards managed to get a 10-point victory 117-107. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Golden Bulls. Flying Leopards made 28-of-37 charity shots (75.7 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Golden Bulls were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international Ailun Guo (188-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 8 assists. American guard OJ Mayo (193-87, college: USC) helped adding 21 points and 8 rebounds. The former international point guard Qian Wu (188-94) responded with 21 points and 8 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and Serbian-American forward Nick Rakocevic (211-97, college: USC) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Golden Bulls' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Flying Leopards have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 29-3 record. Golden Bulls at the other side keep the third position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
