An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Doha. First ranked Al Gharafa faced 3rd placed Al Wakrah. Host Al Gharafa (11-1) defeated guests from Al Wakrah (8-4) 97-92. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Franklin Session II (187-89, college: CS Los Angeles) who helped to win the game recording 42 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists. International forward Nedim Muslic (197-98) contributed with 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. International forward Abdelrahman Abdelhaleem (205-96) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Nick Stover (198-93, college: USA) added 28 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Al Wakrah. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Al Gharafa. They maintain first place with 11-1 record. Al Wakrah at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Al Shamal.
