An interesting game for Mitsubishi K. (8-4) which hosted in Nagoya second-best Denso Iris (9-3). Third ranked Mitsubishi K. managed to get a 10-point victory 74-64. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Denso Iris. Mitsubishi K. dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Denso Iris' 30. It was a good game for the former international swingman Aya Watanabe (169-92) who led her team to a victory with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international center Risa Nishioka (186-97) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Momoko Inai (166-95) replied with 17 points and 6 assists and the former international center Maki Takada (183-89) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Denso Iris. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mitsubishi K. maintains third position with 8-4 record having just three points less than leader Eneos S. Denso Iris at the other side keep the second place with three games lost.
