The game in Takamatsu was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Koshigaya A. (17-10) played at the court of 6th ranked Kagawa FA (12-17). Koshigaya A. defeated Kagawa FA 83-73 on Saturday. Koshigaya A. had a 36-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kagawa FA was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: App State) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. His fellow American import Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Koshigaya A. players scored in double figures. American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) answered with 31 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and point guard Takayuki Kodama (166-92) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Kagawa FA. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Koshigaya A. maintains fourth place with 17-10 record. Kagawa FA lost their third game in a row.
