An exciting game was when Second ranked Yulon Luxgen faced 3rd placed Bank of Taiwan. Yulon Luxgen (9-6) defeated Bank of Taiwan (5-9) 64-56. They outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 49-32 including 34 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for forward Ba Ban (203-97) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds. U.S. Virgin Islands forward Rakeem Christmas (206-91, college: Syracuse) accounted for 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. International center Zong-Rong Hsieh (200-95) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and guard Wei-Chen Liu (190-88) added 2 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Bank of Taiwan in the defeat. Bank of Taiwan's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Yulon Luxgen maintains second place with 9-6 record having four points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Bank of Taiwan lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the third position with nine games lost. Yulon Luxgen's next round opponent will be league's leader Taiwan Beer and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bank of Taiwan will play again against the league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
