Regular Season Round 27: Aomori W. - Fukuoka R. 68-87

The game in Aomori was also quite interesting. Third ranked Rizing (16-11) played at the court of 8th ranked Aomori W. (3-22). Rizing did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 87-68 on Saturday. Rizing made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 26 Aomori W. turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Gerald Beverly (202-93, college: Daemen) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Rizing players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Stephen Hurt (211-93, college: Kansas St.) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Rizing. They moved-up to second place. Aomori W. lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 22 games lost. Rizing will have a break next round. Aomori W. will play again at home against the league's second-placed Rizing (#2) and hope to win that game.
