Regular Season Round 27: Bambitious N. - Fukushima 88-67

Fukushima (#5) was upset in Nara by eighth ranked Bambitious N. 88-67. Bambitious N. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Fukushima's 34. They outrebounded Fukushima 46-31 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bambitious N. looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Sean OMara (208-95, college: Xavier, agency: Inception Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). His fellow American import Marcus Dove (206-85, college: OK State) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Four Bambitious N. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Finnish-American power forward Erik Murphy (208-90, college: Florida) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and guard Shota Kanno (187-92) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bambitious N. maintains eighth place with 8-18 record. Fukushima lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 14 games lost. Bambitious N. will again meet at home higher ranked Fukushima (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fukushima will have a break next round.
