Very important is a loss of third ranked Bank of Taiwan (5-7) against fourth ranked Jutai Techn. (4-8) on Friday night. Bank of Taiwan was defeated by Jutai Techn. in a tough game 82-89. Jutai Techn. dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Bank of Taiwan's 46. They outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 50-32 including a 24-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bank of Taiwan was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Lan-Deng Bu (200-93) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Huan-Ya Yu (183-93) supported him with 24 points. Four Jutai Techn. players scored in double figures. Even 25 points and 9 rebounds by international center Zong-Rong Hsieh (200-95) did not help to save the game for Bank of Taiwan. The former international guard Po-Sheng Chang (185-87) added 19 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jutai Techn. maintains fourth position with 4-8 record. Bank of Taiwan at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. Jutai Techn. will play against league's leader Taiwan Beer in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
