Undefeated Naft Abadan (5-1) recorded its first loss in Teheran on Tuesday night. Visitors were edged by fourth ranked Exxon SC (3-2) 75-72. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Naft Abadan. Exxon SC forced 25 Naft Abadan turnovers. Strangely Naft Abadan outrebounded Exxon SC 33-20 including a 27-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American point guard Corin Henry (181-88, college: Tarleton St.) who scored 18 points, 7 assists and 6 steals. Croatian power forward Zoran Vrkic (203-87, agency: SDJ Sports) chipped in 19 points and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was international Mohammad Hassanzadeh (203-90) who recorded 28 points and 9 rebounds and international Rasoul Mozafari (188-94) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively. Exxon SC maintains fourth place with 3-2 record. Naft Abadan at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost.
