There was no surprise when 10th ranked Dragonflies (4-21) were defeated on the road by sixth ranked Toyama G. (16-9) 85-70 on Sunday. Zimbabwean-American forward Julian Mavunga (203-90, college: Miami, OH, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up and scored 24 points for the winners and American center Richard Solomon (208-92, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit) responded with 26 points and the other American import power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyama G. moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Dragonflies lost twelfth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the tenth position with 21 games lost. Toyama G. will face Shimane Magic (#7) at home in the next round. Dragonflies will play against Akita Northern Happinets and hope to win that game.
