Very important is a road loss of third ranked Diamond Dolphins (16-9) against seventh ranked Toyota Alvark (14-11) on Sunday night. Visiting Diamond Dolphins were defeated by Toyota Alvark in Tokyo 90-78. Toyota Alvark dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Diamond Dolphins' 34. Toyota Alvark looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Alex Kirk (211-91, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. International guard Seiya Ando (184-92) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Toyota Alvark players scored in double figures.
