We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Dubai where Kuwaiti Kazma was defeated by UAE Shabab Al Ahli 91-86 on Monday. Shabab Al Ahli forced 19 Kazma turnovers. The best player for the winners was center Qais Alshabebi (200-1991) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. American Nick Minnerath (207-1988, college: Detroit) chipped in 25 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Rickey Young (205-1990, college: WVU Tech) produced 26 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Latavious Williams (203-1989, agency: BeoBasket) added 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. Four Kazma players scored in double figures. Shabab Al Ahli will meet at home Al Hilal in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kazma will play against Al Bashaer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
