Thailand managed to get their first victory at the tournament in the 5th place game, where they defeated Lebanon 85-77. Despite only 5th place location, it can be considered as relatively big success. Obviously the teams from China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan are way better, thanks to strong women leagues they have.
