China
dominated entire event winning all their games. In the final of Asian Games in
Doha, they defeated Taiwan 90-59.
It's not a surprise as there are only three fully professional women leagues in
Asia (China, Korea and Japan), while China has definitely the highest level.

Eurobasket
Thailand
managed to get their first victory at the tournament in the 5th place game,
where they defeated Lebanon 85-77. Despite only 5th place location, it can be
considered as relatively big success. Obviously the teams from China, Taiwan,
Korea and Japan are way better, thanks to strong women leagues they have.
