Mongolia recorded the second victory at the Asian Games. They outgunned Kazakhstan to top the standings. Ganzul Davaasuren (170-G-88) stepped up with 34 points to pace the winners. Mongolia got to a strong start. They ensured a 40:25 halftime lead. Mongolia went on a 25:9 run in the third term to clear off for good. Bayartsetseg Ganbat (155-PG-88) delivered 16 points in the victory. Nadezhda Kondrakova (190-C-89) responded with 17 points and 13 rebounds for Kazakhstan.
