Australia celebrated title in Jordan. They thumped New Zealand in the championship game tonight to lift the trophy. Australia imposed their will in the first half. The Emus recorded a 52-16 halftime lead. Australia followed with a 33-5 rally in the third term to clear off for good. Jacob Furphy (196-SG-2006) posted 21 points, while Emmett Adair (205-C-2006) contributed 19 points for the champions. Carter Hopoi (206-F-2006) answered with 9 points for New Zealand.
3-4 Place
Jordan - China 63-84

China cruised past Jordan to earn the Bronze medals at the championship. China recorded a 46-36 halftime lead. The hosts pulled within 6 points at the final break. But China responded with a 20-5 run in the final period to ice the victory. Jiazheng Chen (194-F-2006) and Boyuan Zhang (204-F-2007) deposited 22 points each for China. Saif Saleh (F-2006) answered with 13 points and 13 rebounds for Jordan.

5-6 Place
South Korea - Iran 66-57
South Korea held off Iran to earn the fifth position in Jordan. The Korean team established a 35-22 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 18-point mark at the final break and withheld a comeback effort from Iran in the fourth stanza. Gu Seungchae (190-F-2006) produced 20 points, while Jang Hyeokjun (193-F-2006) had 15 points for the winners. Mohammad Heydari (192-G-2006) answered with 16 points for Iran.

7-8 Place
Japan - India 100-50
Japan cruised past India to finish 7th in Jordan. Japan grabbed a 43-22 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the win. Riku Segawa (184-PG-2006) stepped up with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for Japan. Mirthun Dhanasekar replied with 15 points for India.
