Australia - Taiwan 113-48
Australia cruised past Taiwan for the third straight win in Group A. Australia recorded a 57-24 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the win. Seven players scored in double digits for the winners. Mason Honeyman (191-G-2006) scored 17 points to lead Australia. Zhong-Yao Fu (195-C-2006) had 8 points for Taiwan.

Philippines - New Zealand 58-75
New Zealand stormed past Philippines to improve at 3-0 record in Group D. Carter Hopoi (206-F-2006) stepped up with 23 points and 16 boards for the Kiwis. New Zealand registered a 43-26 halftime advantage and never looked back en route to the win. John Medina (188-SG-2006) poured in 30 points for Philippines.

Iran - South Korea 60-83
South Korea eased past Iran to earn the third straight win at the championship. Iran led by a single point at the first break. But South Korea responded with a 47-29 second half run to ice the victory. Jewon Lee (196-F-2006) came up with 21 points for South Korea. Amirmahyar Keramati (196-PF-2007) netted 25 points for Iran.

India - Kuwait 62-51
India outscored Kuwait to open win count at the tournament. India used a 22-7 run in the third term to surge ahead for good. Lavish Lavish (180-PG-2007) and Lokesh Sharma (188-PF-2007) posted 12 points each for India. Adel Alsaied (187-G-2006) replied with 16 points and 9 rebounds for Kuwait.

Lebanon - Mongolia 66-45
Lebanon clinched the second position in Group A as they rallied past Mongolia. Nikolai Choueiri (201-C-2006) came up with 11 points and 10 rebounds off the bench to lead the charge. Tuvsh Gantulga had 15 points for Mongolia.

China - Japan 68-66
China held off Japan to remain undefeated at the championship. Japan established a 38-31 halftime lead. But China answered with a 20-11 rally in the fourth frame to snatch the victory. Riku Segawa (184-PG-2006) came up with 23 points, while Leon Watanabe (207-C/F-2006) added 16 points for Japan. Boyuan Zhang (204-F-2007) chipped in 22 points, while Ruiqi Duan (191-G-2006) had 15 points for the winners.

Qatar - Kazakhstan 71-64
Qatar opened win count in Jordan. They held off Kazakhstan for 1-2 record in Group C. Kazakhstan went on a 25-12 run in the third term to take a 6-point lead. But Qatar responded with a 27-14 rally in the fourth frame to snatch the victory. Mohamed Ndao (193-G-2007) came up with 35 points and 17 rebounds for Qatar. Bolatbek Baktygali (185-G-2006) replied with 13 points and 9 assists for Kazakhstan.

Jordan - Indonesia 82-59
Jordan overcame a slow start to tame Indonesia in Group D. Saif Saleh (F-2006) registered 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Altayyeb Kassem (198-C-2007) added 15 points for the hosts. Justin Alex (180-G-2006) answered with 19 points for Indonesia.
