Chennedy Carter (ex Shanghai) signs at LV Aces

In 21 games she averaged impressive 33.1ppg, 6.5rpg, 5.0apg and 2.6spg last season. She was also voted League Player of the Week (3 times). The last summer she played at Al Ula in 26th Arab Clubs Women Basketball Championship matches played in Medina Saudi Arabia 2025

In 2020 Atlanta Dream selected her as fourth overall pick in WNBA draft.
The former Texas A&M University standout is in her sixth season in pro basketball.

Carter was also a member of the USA international program for some years. She played for USA Senior National Team back in 2019 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2017

Carter is a very experienced player. She has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Carter has played professionally in China (Dragons and hengfan), Israel (Maccabi Raanana), Mexico (Adelitas), Poland (Poznan), Saudi Arabia, Turkey (Kocaeli) and WNBA (LA Sparks and Chicago Sky).

Among many awards Carter's team won Chinese League Group B Regular Season in 2025. She received Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese WCBA Player of the Year award and Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese WCBA Defensive Player of the Year award in 2025.
