Al Sharjah (D1) agreed terms with 25-year-old Senegalese international forward Ndioma Kane (190cm-1999) for the new 2025-26 season. She played last season at Al Ahly in the Egyptian Superleague. She has been regularly called up to the Senegalese Senior National Team since 2024.

Kane has played previously in Spain (Zamora) and Portugal (Quinta dos Lombos and Clube Desportivo Escola Francisco Franco). She won the Egyptian League championship title in 2025.

Among many awards, she was voted Afrobasket.com All-FIBA African Women Basketball League Forward of the Year in 2024.
