Al Fatat adds Sutherland to their roster

Al Fatat (D1) added to their roster experienced 34-year-old USA-Belizean forward Aishah Sutherland (188cm-1990, college: Kansas) for the arab tournamentn. She played last season at Zhejiang in the Chinese WCBA. In three games, she had 11.3ppg, 7.0rpg, and 3.3spg. The previous (2024) summer she played at Rojas de Veracruz (LNBPF) in the Mexican league.
She is quite experienced player. Her career allowed her to visit four different continents, while she played in fifteen different countries. Sutherland tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. She has played professionally in Chile (Los Leones), France (Toulouse and Roche), Israel (Maccabi Bnot Ashdod, Elitzur Holon and Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion), Italy, Jordan (Orthodox), Korea (Woori Bank and Blue Minx), Latvia (TTT Riga), Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Mexico, Poland (Polkowice and Sosnowiec), Puerto Rico (Cangrejeras), Spain (Gernika, Araski and Zaragoza), Turkey (Nesibe) and Dominican Republic (Immortals).
Among many awards, she won the Latvian LSBL championship title in 2017. Sutherland was voted Eurobasket.com Latvian-Estonian LSBL Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com Latvian-Estonian LSBL Import Player of the Year during 2017.
She graduated from the University of Kansas in 2012 and it will be her 14th season as a professional player.
