Sosnowiec signes Jones ex KACM

MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec (OBLK) signed Britney Jones, a 36-year-old American point guard who stands at 174cm tall. Jones, who played college basketball at UAB , briefly played for KACM Kawkab de Marrakech in the Moroccan league

She has played professionally in a total of fourteen different countries on four different continents, thanks to her career in pro basketball.

She has experience in European, Latin American, African, and North American leagues. Her previous professional teams include BC Minsk in Belarus, Namur and Castors Braine in Belgium, FEA Neas in Greece, Fjolnir in Iceland, Elitzur Holon and Hapoel Petah Tikva in Israel, Libertadoras in Mexico, Montaneras in Puerto Rico, Targoviste, ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe, and Brasov in Romania, UMMC Yekaterinburg and Chevakata in Russia, Fribourg in Switzerland, the Chicago Sky in the WNBA, and Santa Tecla Elite in El Salvador.

In 2021, she played in the final of the Belarusian League and received the Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Import Player of the Year award. This may be one of her last seasons in her long career, which she may end at Sosnowiec.

She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2009, and this is her 15th season in professional basketball.
