Capital adds Hollivay to their roster

The Capital (D1) added to their roster 29-year old American center Rachel Hollivay (196cm-1993, college: Rutgers) to play the arab tournament .

Hollivay played this summer at Flint Lady Monarchs (GWBA) in the U.S. She managed to play in four leagues in three countries last year (!!!). Hollivay helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. She also played for Abejas in Mexican LNBPF where in 19 games she had 10.2ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.8apg.

In 2016 she was drafted by Atlanta Dream (WNBA) in second round (13th overall).

Hollivay graduated from Rutgers University and it will be her eighth season in pro basketball.

She is quite experienced player. Her career allowed her to visit four different continents, while she played in fifteen different countries. Hollivay tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. She has played previously professionally in Chile (Gimnastico), China (Liaoning Hengye), France (Villeneuve and Nantes), Greece (PAOK Thessaloniki), Hungary (UNI Gyor), Jordan (Dunes Club), Montenegro (Buducnost), Spain (Gran Canaria and CREF Hola), Turkey (Besiktas and Rize), Ukraine (Prometey), WNBA (LA Sparks), South Korea (Blue Minx), Ecuador (Leones) and WBDA (Atlanta M.).

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she won United Cup Superior championship title in 2022. Hollivay was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek League Honorable Mention in 2022.
