Sporting Club Beirut (WLBL) inked 29-year old American ex-international 190cm center Elizabeth Williams (college: Duke) to play for the team in the upcoming Arab Club Championships taking part in Tunisia from 20 to 28 September 2022. Williams played this summer at Washington Mystics (WNBA).

She managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 32 WNBA games just recently she averaged 5.2ppg and 3.7rpg. Williams helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. The last season she played at Fenerbahce in Turkish KBSL where in 22 games she had 12.0ppg, 7.9rpg (#5 in the league), 2.2apg, 2.0spg (in top 5) and 1.0bpg.

She contributed to her team winning the league title and they also made it to the Cup final. A very good season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish KBSL Second Team. Williams also played 18 games in Euroleague where she recorded 12.2ppg, 9.2rpg, 2.6apg, 1.8spg and 2.3bpg. She contributed to her team making it to the Euroleague final.

It was a very successful season in her career as she was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Euroleague Defensive Player of the Year and selected to Eurobasket.com All-Euroleague Second Team.

In 2015 Connecticut Sun voted her as fourth overall pick in WNBA draft.
Williams graduated from Duke University and it will be her eighth season in pro basketball.
She was a member of USA international program for some years. Williams was called to USA Senior National Team in 2019 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2011.

She is a very experienced player. Williams has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). She has played previously professionally in China (Liaoning Hengye), Russia (Nadezhda Orenburg), Turkey (Istanbul Universitesi SK and Botasspor Adana) and WNBA (Atlanta Dream).

Williams' game is described as: An athletic and versatile player that can run the floor well. Has excellent hands around the basket. Can step out and hit the three-pointer. One of the best post players to ever sign with Duke. Led USA Basketball to three gold medals.
