Club Beirut lands Shaqwedia Wallace, ex Sf.Gheorghe

Wallace played most recently at Sf.Gheorghe in Romanian Liga Nationala. In 31 games she averaged 10.4ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.1apg and 1.2spg last season. She helped them to win the League title and the cup. Wallace also played 8 games in Eurocup where she had 11.1ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.6apg and 1.0spg.

She ended the previous (2020-21) season at Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan in Israeli D1. In 15 games she recorded 11.9ppg, 5.3rpg, 3.3apg and 1.0spg in that year. She contributed to her team winning the Israeli League title. But the most of that year she spent at Buyuksehir Belediyesi Adana Basketbol in Turkish KBSL.

In 18 games she got impressive 16.1ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.1apg and 1.4spg in that year. She can count that season as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish KBSL Honorable Mention. Wallace also played 3 games in Eurocup where she got 14.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.7apg and 2.3spg in that year.

She is a very experienced player. Wallace has played also professionally in Belgium (Waregem and Castors Braine), France (Nantes and Angers), Portugal (Quinta dos Lombos and Sportiva) and Spain (UNB Obenasa). She was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Forward of the Year back in 2015 and 2016.
Wallace graduated from Temple University in 2011 and it will be her twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
