Nabeul to host 23rd edition of Arab Women's Basketball Championship

Nabeul will play host on September 20-28 to the 23rd edition of the Arab Women's Basketball Championship organised by ES Cap Bon. The event will see the participation of 11 teams, including two from Tunisia. Tunisia is hosting a women's basketball tournament for the first time in 25 years, President of ES Cap Bon Wafa Bettayeb Wednesday told a press conference. Hosts ES Cap-bon were drawn in Group A along with Al Sharjah (UAE), Algeria's MTS Basket-ball Setif, Shabab Al Fuheis of Jordan, Mogadishu City Club (Somalia) and Egyptian Smouha Sport. Al Hilal Sport, Tunisia's second representative, were drawn in Group B with Lebanese Club Beirut, Al Thawra of Syria, Jordan's Al-Orthodoxy and Algerian GS Kocidar.
