Al Thawra Damascus (D1) landed 25-year old American 165cm guard Ciani Cryor (college: Texas Southern) to play for the team in the upcoming Arab Club Championships taking part in Tunisia from 20 to 29 September 2022

Cryor played this summer at Flint Lady Monarchs (GWBA) in the U.S. In three United Cup games just recently she averaged 6.7ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.7apg. The last season she was tested by Fjolnir in Icelandic Subway League where in three games she had very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 7.0rpg, 8.3apg and 6.3spg.


She graduated from Texas Southern University in 2020 and it will be her third season in pro basketball.
