ES Cap Bon lands Chelsea Hopkins, ex Fuheis- August 17, 2022

Chelsea Hopkins
Hopkins played most recently at M.Haifa in Israeli D1 league. In 26 games she averaged impressive 15.9ppg, 8.0rpg, 7.5apg and 2.4spg last season. She helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Hopkins can count that season as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com Israeli League All-Imports Team.
Part of previous (2021) summer she spent at Atenienses in Puerto Rican BSNF where in two games she had 9.0ppg, 7.0rpg and 3.5apg in 2021 year. She also played for Al Fuheis in Jordanian league. A very impressive season as she was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian D1 League Player of the Year, Finals MVP and Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian D1 League Stealer of the Year. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life on four different continents. Hopkins is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. She has played previously professionally in WNBA (New York Liberty, Phoenix Mercury, Chicago Sky and Atlanta Dream) and Jordan (Fuheis Stars). Her team won Israeli Cup in 2015, 2017 and 2018. Hopkins received All-MWC Player of the Year award back in 2013. She graduated from San Diego State University in 2013 and it will be her tenth season in pro basketball.
