Monique Reid

Al Fuheis (D1) inked 32-year old American 185cm forward Monique Reid (college: Louisville), agency: LBM Management for upcoming season.

Reid played last summer at Teporacas in Mexican LMBPF. In only one game she had just 2 points, 1 rebound and 1 block.

The last season 2021-2022 she played at Sporting in Egyptian league. She helped them to win the Egyptian League title.

Reid is a very experienced player. She has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to nine different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Reid has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Montana and Beroe), Chile (Leones), Germany (TSV 1880 and Oberhausen), Israel (Petah Tikva), Lebanon (Club Beirut), Puerto Rico (Atenienses), Romania (Arad), WBDA (Atlanta M.) and Egypt (Heliopolis).

She graduated from University of Louisville in 2013 and it will be her tenth season in pro basketball.

Reid's game is described as: Monique Reed is a 6-1 US Forward, a pure scorer that is coming from one of the best NCAA programs the University of Louisville. Reid had participated in two NCAA's Final 4 with the team of Louisville and she was first scorer of the program for 2 consecutive seasons 2009-2010 and 2010-2011. She has a wide range of scoring ways, excellent moves and great post game. Reid can shoot very good from the perimeter and score under pressure. Reid is very strong near to the basket and reliable rebounder. Monique has big experience for her age, reads the game very well and she is a leader in the court.
