Fukushima Firebonds (B2 League) added to their roster 32-year old Bahamas ex-international small forward Mark St.Fort (200-95kg-88, college: Warner). He just played at Hiroshima Dragonflies in Japanese B1 League. In 7 games he had only 2.6ppg and 1.7rpg this season. B2 League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. St.Fort also played for Niigata Albirex (B1 League) where in 12 games he recorded 10.6ppg and 3.8rpg. The other team he played shortly was Aishin Sea Horses (B1 League). In two games he averaged only 2.5ppg and 1.5rpg.
St.Fort also represented Bahamas at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia) three years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 11.2ppg, 2.6rpg, Blocks-5 (1.4bpg), FGP: 52.9%, 3PT: 29.6%, FT: 73.7%.
St.Fort is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eight different countries. St.Fort tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Samaheej), France (Tremblay), Bahamas (Giants), PBL (Rochester RazorSharks), NABL (Florida S.), Colombia (Bucaros) and Thailand (Thai General Equipment).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others St.Fort's team made it to the Thailand Basketball League Semifinals in 2018. He was also voted All-FSC 1st Team back in 2013 at his college time.
St.Fort attended Warner University until 2013 and it is his eighth season as a professional player.
