Sixth-ranked Tokyo Z (5-29) gave a tough game to third ranked Sendai 89ers (23-12) on Saturday. The visitors from Sendai managed to secure only two-point victory 68-66. However their fans expected easier game. Sendai 89ers made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. American forward Justin Burrell (207-88, college: St.John's) had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import center Jerome Meyinsse (208-88, college: Virginia) chipped in 11 points and 11 rebounds during the contest.
