JASON THOMPSON

32-year old power forward Jason Thompson (211-F/C-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sichuan BW and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 47.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 27 rebounds, while his team beat Zhejiang Ch. (#12, 23-23) 119-114. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Sichuan BW is placed at 18th position in Chinese league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 35 games and recorded just eleven victories. In the team's last game Thompson had a remarkable 73.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Sichuan BW's top player in his first season with the team. Jason Thompson averages this season 22.4ppg and 14.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Dakari Johnson (213-C/F-95) of Qingdao E.. He is American in his first season at Qingdao E.. In the last game Johnson recorded impressive double-double of 34 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Qingdao E. lost that game 118-142 to the higher-ranked Xinjiang FT (#4, 33-13). Qingdao E. managed to keep the same 15th spot in the standings. 33 lost games are too many comparing to just thirteen victories Qingdao E. managed to get this year. Johnson is a newcomer at Qingdao E. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Darius Adams (188-PG-89) of Xinjiang FT (#4). Adams got into 30-points club by scoring 49 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds and ten assists. He was a key player of Xinjiang FT, leading his team to a 142-118 easy win against the lower-ranked Qingdao E. (#15, 13-33). Xinjiang FT needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 33 victories and 13 lost games. Adams has a very solid season. In 44 games in China he scored 36.6ppg. He also has 7.4rpg, 8.3apg, 2.7spg and FGP: 54.2%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ricky Ledo (201-F/G-92) of Beijing Dragons - 40 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists
5. Justin Hamilton (213-C-90) of Beijing Ducks - 36 points and 14 rebounds
6. Zhelin Wang (214-PF-94) of Fujian S. - 38 points, 16 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Kyle Fogg (190-PG-90) of Guangzhou LL - 28 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists
8. Ailun Guo (192-SF-93) of Liaoning FL - 38 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Marcus Denmon (191-G-90) of Zhejiang Ch. - 31 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists
10. XiaoXu Li (206-C-90) of Liaoning FL - 21 points, 18 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
