HAMED HADDADI

Iranian Center Hamed Haddadi (218-C-85) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Champville, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 17 rebounds, while his team crushed Homentmen (#3, 10-3) with 16-point margin 96-80. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Champville to consolidate first place in the Lebanese LBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Champville has a very solid 11-3 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Haddadi just recently signed at Champville and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader.

The second best player in last round's games was 38-year old American Ramel Curry (191-G-80) of Sagesse. Curry had a very good evening with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Sagesse lost that game 65-70 to slightly higher-ranked Moutahed (#8, 4-9). Sagesse are still at the very bottom. 11 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Sagesse managed to get this year. Curry is a newcomer at Sagesse and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was U.S. Virgin Islands guard Walter Hodge (183-PG-86) of Homentmen (#3). Hodge got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. Despite Hodge's great performance Homentmen lost 80-96 to #1 ranked Champville. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Homentmen needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 10 victories and 3 lost games. Hodge has a very solid season. In 13 games in Lebanon he scored 20.7ppg. He also has 4.2rpg, 6.5apg and FGP: 52.1%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ali Haidar (201-F-90) of Beirut Club - 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Fadi El Khatib (198-F-79) of Champville - 30 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Keanau Post (211-C/F-92) of Sagesse - 18 points and 9 rebounds
7. Quincy Douby (190-G-84) of Beirut Club - 21 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Dewayne Jackson (203-F-90) of Champville - 20 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Jimmy Salem (190-G-95) of Moutahed - 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Brandon Mobley (206-F/C-91) of Moutahed - 21 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The Player of the Week awards are presented by Interperformances. Interperformances is a full-service agency specializing in the representation of professional athletes the world-over.
