American Guard Marcus Denmon (191-G-90, agency: BeoBasket) put on an amazing game in the last round for Zhejiang Ch., receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 42.
The 28-year old player got a double-double of 51 points and 10 assists, while his team outclassed Shanghai S. (#11, 21-21) with 30-point margin 131-101. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Zhejiang Ch. maintains the 10th position in Chinese CBA. Zhejiang Ch. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 22-20 record. In the team's last game Denmon had a remarkable ten three-pointers out of 17 attempts. He turned to be Zhejiang Ch.'s top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Missouri star has very solid stats this year. Denmon is in league's top in points (7th best: 33.9ppg) and averages impressive 54.0% FGP and 42.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was 26-year old American Ricky Ledo (201-F/G-92) of Beijing Dragons. Ledo had a very good evening with a double-double of 54 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Beijing Dragons was edged by the higher-ranked Tianjin GL (#17, 10-32) 126-125. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Beijing Dragons is still at the dead bottom 20th position. 34 lost games are too many comparing to just eight victories Beijing Dragons managed to get this year. Ledo is one of the most experienced players at Beijing Dragons and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Andray Blatche (211-F/C-86) of Tianjin GL (#17). Blatche got into 30-points club by scoring 37 points in the last round. He went also for seventeen rebounds and eight assists. He was a key player of Tianjin GL, leading his team to a 126-125 win against the lower-ranked Beijing Dragons (#20, 8-34). Tianjin GL can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 10-32 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Blatche he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Blatche has a very solid season. In 16 games in China he scored 21.0ppg. He also has 10.9rpg, 4.3apg, 1.7bpg, FGP: 52.3% and 3PT: 40.1%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Shabazz Muhammad (198-SF-92) of Shanxi Z. - 42 points and 9 rebounds
5. Taylor Rochestie (185-PG-85) of Tianjin GL - 48 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Donatas Motiejunas (213-F/C-90) of Shandong GS - 35 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Jarnell Stokes (201-F-94) of Xinjiang FT - 24 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Andrew Nicholson (206-PF-89) of Fujian S. - 35 points and 10 rebounds
9. Kyle Fogg (190-PG-90) of Guangzhou LL - 34 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Quanxi Wu (210-C-94) of Jiangsu D. - 21 points and 15 rebounds
