The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game between third ranked Leopards (31-11) and ninth ranked Long-Lions (23-19) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Leopards were crushed by Long-Lions in Guangzhou 117-97. They made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Long-Lions forced 20 Leopards turnovers and outrebounded them 41-26 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American guard Lorenzo Brown (196-90, college: NC State) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. His fellow American import point guard Kyle Fogg (190-90, college: Arizona) helped adding 34 points (!!!) and 5 steals (made all of his fourteen free throws !!!). At the losing side forward Yiwen Lu (199-95) responded with 22 points and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Long-Lions have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain ninth place with 23-19 record. Leopards at the other side keep the third position with 11 games lost. Long-Lions are looking forward to face Sharks (#11) in Shanghai in the next round. Leopards will play at home against Golden Bulls (#10) and are hoping to win this game.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Hangzhou. 4th placed host Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (29-12) lost to first ranked Flying Leopards (37-5) 98-93. It was an exceptional evening for American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Brandon Bass accounted for 15 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas) came up with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 11 assists for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Flying Leopards have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 37-5 record, which they share with Guangdong ST. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions at the other side keep the fourth position with 12 games lost. Flying Leopards will play against Jilin Tigers (#13) in Changchun in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will play at home against the league's second-placed Guandong Tigers (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game took place in Shanghai where higher ranked Sharks (21-21) were upset on its own court by sixteenth ranked Monkey Kings (11-31) 110-104 on Sunday. Joseph Young fired a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Jimmer Fredette produced 36 points (!!!) and 8 assists for lost side. Monkey Kings moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Qingdao E. Sharks lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 21 games lost. Monkey Kings will meet at home higher ranked Jiangsu Dragons (#12) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sharks will play against Long-Lions and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 43: Shanxi Z. won against Sichuan BW on the opponent's court 127-115. Qingdao E. unfortunately lost to Fujian S. in a home game 118-136. Jilin NE T. was rolled over Guangdong ST on the road 111-132. Jiangsu D. was crushed by Shandong GS on its own court 83-122. Zhejiang Ch. smashed Bayi R. in Hangzhou 116-89. Tianjin GL lost to Beijing Ducks at home 92-103.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 25 points and 8 rebounds by Dayu Zhang of Zhejiang Ch..



Beijing Dragons - Xinjiang FT 101-143

20th ranked Fly Dragons (8-34) were outscored at home by fifth ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (28-13) with the biggest margin this round 143-101. Xinjiang Flying Tige made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis) who helped to win the game recording 40 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals (made all of his eight free throws). Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Beijing Ducks maintains sixth place with 27-15 record. The game between Top Four teams took place in Hangzhou. 4th placed host Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (29-12) lost to first ranked Flying Leopards (37-5) 98-93. Flying Leopards outrebounded Zhejiang Guangsha Lions 56-43 including 23 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Brandon Bass (203-85, college: LSU) accounted for 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Four Flying Leopards players scored in double figures. American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas) came up with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 11 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and international center Jinqiu Hu (208-97) added 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Flying Leopards have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 37-5 record, which they share with Guangdong ST. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions at the other side keep the fourth position with 12 games lost. Flying Leopards will play against Jilin Tigers (#13) in Changchun in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will play at home against the league's second-placed Guandong Tigers (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
