Regular Season Round 1: Dragons - Buffaloes 89-98

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss ofDragons in Danang on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Buffaloes 98-89 . Buffaloes looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard George Peterson (188-1995, college: WCU) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. His fellow American import forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Buffaloes' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Max Lee (206-2002) answered with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and American point guard Bryan Nguyen (178-2000, college: Alaska) added 21 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Dragons.
