Regular Season Round 9: City Wings - Catfish 66-78

The game with biggest result difference took place in Ho Chi Minh. Local Wings (2-4) lost to sixth ranked Catfish (2-3) 78-66. The game was also dominated by American players. It was a good game for guard Brachon Griffin (185-1992, college: ECSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Center DeAngelo Hamilton (203-1990, college: WSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Center Amir Williams (211-1992, college: Ohio St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds and guard Jeremy Smith (190-1991, college: Nicholls St.) added 18 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Wings. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Catfish moved-up to fifth place. Wings at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Catfish will play against league's leader Heat in Saigon in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wings will have a break next round.
