Finals Game 1: Hitech - Devil Rays 73-86

Devil Rays outgunned Hitech to take the lead in the championship series. Strangely Hitech outrebounded Devil Rays 46-32 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. International Moses Morgan (198-1992, college: CS Fullerton) stepped up and scored 28 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and American point guard Taishaun Johnson (183-1994, college: PVAMU) chipped in 24 points. Johnson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Devil Rays players scored in double figures. At the losing side Patiphan Klahan responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and the former international Nakorn Jaisanuk (188-1991) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Hitech's coach Manid Niyomyindee rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
