Second Stage Round 5: Bangkok Tigers - Hitech 56-75

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Bangkok: Hitech (#1) and Bangkok Tigers (#4). Bangkok Tigers were crushed at home by 19 points 56-75 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Hitech looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Joshua Keyes (201-1995, college: Muskingum, agency: PBAplayers Agency) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. The former international point guard Nattakarn Muangboon (180-1991) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Keyes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Hitech players scored in double figures. Cameroonian forward Gabriel Yeumo (200-1988) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and Kittitep Lane Dasom added 14 points in the effort for Bangkok Tigers. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hitech have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-1 record. Bangkok Tigers at the other side keep the fourth position with five games lost.
