Braves had a 37-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Pilots helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Archie Goodwin (196-1994, college: Kentucky) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds. ex-international forward Mouhamed Mbaye (208-2001, college: Trinity Valley) contributed with 24 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Braves players scored in double figures. American center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) answered with 19 points and 9 rebounds and international center Chun-Hsiang Lu (190-1997) added 18 points and 7 assists in the effort for Pilots. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
