Bank of Taiwan dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Keelung BK 's 42. Bank of Taiwan players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American power forward James Padgett (203-1991, college: Maryland) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners and the former international point guard Wei-Cheng Wang (183-1999) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Wendell Lewis (204-1989, college: Alabama St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and forward I-Tsung Chu (186-1986) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
