An exciting game was when Third rankedTaiyuan Textile faced second-best Chunghwa Telecom . Taiyuan Textile (11-16) defeated Chunghwa Telecom (12-15) 68-51 . Taiyuan T. outrebounded Chunghua T. 36-24 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Taiyuan T. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was center Wei-Qing Liao (180) who scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Center Wen-Hsuan Hsu (176-2000) chipped in 10 points and 4 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) who recorded 14 points and Chinese swingman Xinyue Liu (193, college: Ohio Christian) added 7 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiyuan T. maintains third place with 11-16 record having fourteen points less than leader Cathay Life. Chunghua T. lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with 15 games lost.
