An interesting game forTigers (20-2) which played against their biggest opponent Chunghwa Telecom (10-12). First ranked Tigers managed to get a 5-point victory 77-72 . Cathay Life outrebounded Chunghua T. 42-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. Cathay Life players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American center Shelby Cheslek (196-1992, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Ling-Chuan Huang (175-1994) chipped in 23 points during the contest. At the losing side the former international swingman Yushu Lin (168-1996) responded with 17 points and the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) scored 11 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tigers have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 20-2 record. Chunghua T. at the other side keeps the second place with 12 games lost.
