American forward Oshlynn Brown (185, college: Rutgers) nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and the former international guard Szu-Chin Pan (170-1992) accounted for 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Ajae Petty (190-2002, college: Ohio St.) came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds and center Wei-Qing Liao (180) added 7 points and 4 steals respectively for Taiyuan T. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chunghua T. maintains second place with 8-9 record having seven points less than leader Cathay Life. Taiyuan T. at the other side keeps the third position with 11 games lost.
