The game between third rankedTaiyuan Textile (3-4) and fourth ranked Chunghwa Telecom Taiyuan Textile was defeated by Chunghwa Telecom 49-66 . It was a key game for the second position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Szu-Chin Pan (170-1992) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Chunghwa Telecom's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Emily Maupin (192-1999, college: Virginia) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Ching Zhuo (172-1997) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Taiyuan T.Chunghua T. moved-up to second place, which they share with Taipower and Taiyuan T.
