Top rankedTigers (4-2) recorded its second loss against fourth ranked Taiyuan Textile on Sunday night. Taiyuan Textile were defeated by fourth ranked Taiyuan Textile (3-3) 72-57 . It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Taiyuan T. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Emily Maupin (192-1999, college: Virginia) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds. The former international center Wen-Yu Lin (180-1995) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Ya-En Han (180-1995) who recorded 23 points and 7 rebounds and center Yu-Wen Hsiao (184-2005) added 11 points and 14 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiyuan T. moved-up to second place, which they share with Taipower. Defending champion Cathay Life still keeps top position with two games lost.
