Very important is a loss of second rankedTaiyuan Textile (2-3) against fourth ranked Power (2-3) on Saturday night. Taiyuan Textile was defeated by Power 87-73 . It was a key game for the second position in the league. Taipower shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Point guard Rui-Zhen Song (160) nailed 22 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winning side and the former international Yi-Wen Zhang (173-1996) accounted for 16 points and 6 assists. Guard Yu-Lin Ye (163) came up with 23 points and center Wei-Qing Liao (180) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Taiyuan T. in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taipower moved-up to second place, which they share with Taiyuan T. and Chunghua T.
